Chief Operating Officer
Tom joined the Scarlett Family Foundation as the executive director in 2007. He currently serves as chief operating officer, managing the day-to-day operations and relationships with grant seekers, recipients, and key business partners.
A native Nashvillian, Tom brings 35 years of business experience and leadership to the Foundation. His background includes 12 years with Tractor Supply Company, serving in leadership roles including vice president of Merchandising and Supply Chain Management. Additionally, he has served the non-profit community as board advisor to several organizations, and was Board chair of the Brentwood Family YMCA. He served on the Education Report Card Committee for the Nashville Chamber of Commerce and is the past chair of the Steering Committee of the Middle Tennessee Donors Forum. He recently served on the steering committee for the Blueprint for Early Childhood Success, and the Trailblazer Coalition Advisory Council.
Tom attended West Meade Elementary, Wharton Middle, Bellevue High and is a graduate of Hillwood High School and the University of Alabama. Tom resides in Franklin, TN with his wife. They have two children and one grandchild.
